As the founder of Allensworth & Porter with over 35 years of experience in litigation, William R. Matthew B. Cano
Matthew Cano’s practice emphasizes construction litigation, commercial litigation, mediation and personal injury defense, and has been with our firm since 2001. Mr. Cano is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and represents design professionals, including architects, engineers, surveyors, and landscape architects; owners; contractors; and equipment dealers in construction litigation matters involving contract, tort, and insurance defense.

Matt Ryan has extensive experience with construction disputes and other matters, including serving as lead counsel and appearing in federal court, as well as arbitration, administrative proceedings, and extensive mediation experience.

Travis Brown works primarily in the area of construction law, where he represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects. Mr. Brown joined the firm’s construction law practice as an Associate in 2006, after a one-year construction law fellowship with the firm.

Christopher Craven practices primarily in the areas of construction law and construction litigation. Working with design professionals in disciplinary and registration proceedings before the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, Mr. Craven has also worked extensively with design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers in payment dispute resolution.
