Mr. Allensworth founded the firm in 1995. He has tried about 50 cases to Texas juries in state and federal courts and handled several dozen appeals.

Mr. Allensworth has taught courses in construction law and construction litigation at the University of Texas School of Law since 1999. He is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers, and he was the founder of the Construction Law Section of the Travis County Bar Association, now known as the Austin Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, he served as a Lieutenant in Battery K, 4th Bn., 11th Marines in the former Republic of Vietnam.

Mr. Allensworth is the co-editor of CONSTRUCTION LAW, a textbook published by the American Bar Association in 2009 for use in law schools throughout the nation.

William Allensworth is licensed by the United States Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of Texas, U.S. Court of Claims, 5th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, and all U.S. District Courts in Texas. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
